Shop Terms of Service

These Shop Terms of Service apply to all purchases made through the Black Thread Union merch store at blackthreadunion.com/merch. By placing an order you agree to these terms in addition to the site‑wide Terms of Use.

1. Print-on-demand fulfilment

All items in our store are printed on demand and made to order. Nothing is held in stock. Each product is produced specifically for you by our fulfilment partner Printful after you complete your purchase.

2. Orders and payment

Orders are processed through Printful and payment is handled securely by Stripe. By completing a purchase you confirm that you have provided accurate delivery information and that you are authorised to use the payment method provided. We reserve the right to cancel orders we suspect of fraud.

3. Production and shipping

After your order is confirmed it enters production, typically within 2‑5 business days. Shipping times vary by destination. A tracking number will be emailed to you once your order ships. Estimated delivery times are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed.

You are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees applicable in your country.

4. No returns or exchanges

Because each item is custom-produced at the time of your purchase, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for change of mind or incorrect sizing. Please review the size guides on each product page carefully before ordering.

5. Defective or damaged items

If your item arrives damaged, misprinted, or with a manufacturing defect, please contact us via the contact form within 14 days of receipt, including your order number and clear photos of the issue. We will work with Printful to arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.

6. Order cancellation

Once an order enters production it cannot be cancelled. If you need to cancel, contact us as soon as possible after placing your order. We will make every effort to intercept it before production begins, but we cannot guarantee success.

7. Incorrect address

If you provide an incorrect or incomplete shipping address and the order cannot be delivered, you may be responsible for the cost of reshipping. Please double-check your address before submitting your order.

8. Intellectual property

All artwork and designs appearing on merch items are owned by Black Thread Union and protected by copyright. Purchase of a product grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the physical item. It does not grant any rights to the underlying designs, and you may not reproduce or resell the designs.

9. Privacy

How we collect and use your personal data in connection with your order is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.

11. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. The current terms apply to all orders placed on or after the effective date shown above. We encourage you to review them before each purchase.
